June was a quiet month relatively speaking. No major travels, just the normal outings with friends, hikes with family, sibling rivalry at home, and a mellow Father’s day. I did attend one of the hiking days (with Julian in the Ergo) with Desmond at his school and it was such a treat to see him and his friends in action. Des was on snack duty that day and I watched him hand bowls of popcorn, carrots and nuts out to all his buddies as they sat criss-cross applesauce on the forest floor in GG Park. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that sight. Tiny little people, like gnomes all huddled in a circle enjoying their bowl of goodies and then hopping up to continue their stick-hunting, puddle jumping, tree climbing ways. The teachers are so magical and gentle with their words…it was definitely inspiring to watch. And of course Des loved having me there and his friends all wanted to hold my hand as we walked. How adorable!!
Our Julian is just teething non-stop (8 teeth!) so that’s been fun. Not really. At all. Poor little guy…we’ll all be happier (and more rested) once this passes but in the meantime pray for us 🙂
Enjoy!
