The biggest, baddest, most delicious Lobsterfest we’ve experienced yet! Marc and Lauren put together an outstanding birthday bash for Marc’s 40th and we were SO happy to be there to celebrate with them….and their 543 guests.  Ok, not quite that many but the house was packed!  Marc seemed blissfully delighted the entire evening, partially due to the addition of a professional chef manning the lobster boil instead of himself for once.  Lauren did an amazing job organizing every last detail (not surprising!) and we really didn’t have to do a whole lot to help – it was as low stress as a party can get.

The kiddos absolutely loved being together – Desmond was beside himself to have Annabelle and Clementine all to himself again.  He and Clem are such good buddies now and Annabelle is just about THE best big cousin a boy could have.  They all went for neighborhood walks together, played in the temporary wonderland La set up in the backyard, and jumped around on the air mattress like a pile of silly monkeys – a mandatory cousin bonding event I think.

Post-fest was filled with various renditions of lobster leftovers…all of them more mouthwatering than the next.  Lobster – truffle – mac and cheese anyone? Yes Pleeeease.

Looking forward to next year already!
