I need more kid-craft supplies.  Seriously these Davis-Winters kids get together and it’s like a house full of Santa’s Elves around here….one kid is madly drawing circles for an hour, the other is creating a fantasy world of flowers out of pompoms and pipe-cleaners, and the other is flipping between reading books and making sticker scenes….so much creativity! I love it.  Annabelle definitely came up with some awesome ideas (a life size spider web made out of pipe cleaners for one) and the other little ones were happy to partake in the creative frenzy that ensued.

In essence, they came, we ate a lot, played, they went to a wedding up North, came back, played, ate some more, drank a lot of wine, and they left (insert sad face).  It was so nice to have Marc and La and the girls here (and to be able to fit all of them comfortably) in our home.  We got to see some of their good Bay Area friends, visit the Science Museum, play in Golden Gate Park, eat dinner with Dassance and Reed, …. and even had the rare opportunity to just sit and talk to each other under a (somewhat) starry sky like we do during our Lake House visits.

And in just a few weeks we’ll do it all over again at Marc’s big 4-0 birthday party!
